What cookies are
Cookies are small pieces of information a website can ask your browser to store and return with later requests. Other browser features, including local storage and session storage, can also retain information. These mechanisms are different from an ordinary downloaded file or text you choose to copy to your clipboard.
Storage used by the site code
The supplied HTML, CSS and JavaScript do not set cookies, write to local storage or write to session storage. They do not include advertising, behavioural tracking or analytics libraries. Navigation state and animation state exist only in the current page’s memory.
The message builder does not save a draft between visits. Reloading or leaving the page may discard your text, although your browser may independently restore form fields or use autofill according to your settings.
| Feature | Behaviour in the supplied code |
|---|---|
| Menu and scroll reveals | Temporary page state; no persistent browser storage. |
| Message preview | Text assembled in page memory; no upload or stored draft. |
| Copy text | Writes to the clipboard only after you choose Copy. |
| Download text | Creates a local file only after you choose Download. |
| Analytics and advertising | No tracking code is included. |
Hosting and separately supplied features
Hosting infrastructure may use technical mechanisms or operational logs that are separate from this page code. A deployment platform may also supply its own consent interface. Any separately added storage or tracking should be disclosed by its operator before it is used, and consent obtained where required. The table above describes the supplied site code, not an audit of every possible hosting configuration.
Your browser controls
You can inspect and remove site data using your browser’s privacy or site-information settings. You can also control autofill, clipboard permissions, browsing history and downloads. Deleting browser site data does not necessarily delete downloaded files or operating-system clipboard history; manage those separately on your device.
Opening an external reference site subjects that visit to the destination’s own storage practices. Our external references are links rather than embedded third-party widgets.
